I guess it depends on what the UN is supposed to do. To prevent the UN from becoming just another coalition of the US and it's friends, like NATO, I think we need to keep countries we strongly disagree with, like North Korea, involved.
But this also brings in the question of how much power the UN should have. Seeing as how countries like NK and China are allowed to help make decisions in the UN, we should probably continue to enforce strong limits on it's ability to affect the US.
